Magic of Storytelling with the Easter Kite Story Puppet Play - Mini-Workshop for Parents/Daycare Providers/Teachers Who Love Bringing Joy to Children
Storytelling is one of the easiest, enjoyable ways to be connect deeply with children 2-7 years old. Telling a story by heart engages a different part of the brain than reading a story does and research is showing that the rewards are far reaching for listener and teller. I promise you, developing your storytelling skill will be so satisfying for you and the children you share it with !!!

Wherever you are or aren't in accessing your innate storytelling abilities this workshop will support you. The oral tradition of storytelling is the medium by which we humans passed on information and survived since the beginning of time so it is in each of us - we are wired to tell and hear stories and are deeply nourished by it.
In this workshop you will learn a well-loved Easter tale to share with your children this Easter time. Through the process of creating a 'puppet play' for this Easter story you will learn the tricks of the trade that are aimed at creating a nourishing memorable experience for you and the children you love and make some fun props that you will take home with you at the end of our time together.
Dr. Monika has taught storytelling to parents and teachers for the last 11 years. Stories offer our children a much welcomed pause and feeling of safety and belonging. Coming to this mini-workshop is an easy first step in becoming masterful in your storytelling.

Due to space and materials, class is limited to 6 participants.
Investment: $27 for the workshop and $10 for materials. If you have a felting board, felting needles, green, brown, orange and white roving wool and red flat felt than bring this along as these are the materials we'll be using - the cost will then be just $27 for you.
