Tuning Fork Therapy Support for Hormonal Balance for Women to Support the Peri-Menopausal Transition

What is tuning fork therapy?

Tuning forks use gentle vibration to support your body’s natural ability to regulate and come back into balance.

During your session, different frequencies are applied to specific points on the body (similar to acupuncture points) and around the body to support:

nervous system regulation

hormonal balance

emotional well-being

energy flow and vitality

Why this is helpful in perimenopause

Perimenopause is a time of transition in the body.

You may notice:

  • changes in mood or increased anxiety

  • disrupted sleep

  • lower or fluctuating energy

  • shifts in libido or sense of self

  • feeling “not quite like yourself”

Tuning fork therapy helps by:

  • calming the nervous system

  • supporting stress response (adrenals)

  • improving circulation and flow

  • helping your body integrate hormonal shifts more smoothly

What happens during a session

Your session may include:

Point work

Forks are applied to specific areas (feet, hands, abdomen, back, chest) to support circulation, stress response, and hormone-related pathways.

Paired frequencies

Two forks may be used together to create a balancing effect — for example, grounding + gentle activation, or softening + flow.

Integration (the “cocoon”)

At the end of your session, forks are moved gently around your body to help everything settle and integrate.

This is often where clients feel:

  • deeply relaxed

  • more grounded

  • clear or “back in themselves”

What you may notice after …

Everyone’s experience is different, but you may feel:

  • calmer, more settled

  • improved sleep

  • more energy or clarity

  • emotional release or lightness

  • a deeper sense of connection to your body

This work is not about forcing your body to change.

It’s about:

supporting your body to regulate, adapt, and come back into a renewed balance — in its own timing

Supporting your results

To deepen the effects of your session:

  • spend time outside (nature supports regulation)

  • stay hydrated

  • allow for rest or quiet time if needed

  • notice how your body feels over the next 24–48 hours

This work supports more than symptoms.

It helps you:

  • reconnect with your body

  • feel your energy and aliveness

  • build trust in your system again

You may notice that you begin to recognize when you feel “off” —

and more easily find your way back.
